class exercise - image correction

I wasn’t in class for this lesson so I hope this is correct!
Bob Dylan inspired montage using photoshop.

Window Vinyl Design. As you can see, the red is cut on a transparent film to create the overlapping with the triangles on the window yet still see into the shop so it doesnt block anything as it is a large design. The Silhouette is on the black non transparent film as is the branding.

These are the areas which would be cut by the Vinyl cutter, obviously this isn’t the layout of the vinyl window design but it works alot better like this. The triangles are on a transparent film and will be stuck on individually, the silhouette and black text ‘The cassette society’ are on a black vinyl.

BRAND

The brand I have chosen to go with for my advertisement is “Peace by Piece”. It is stocked in General Pants co. and mainly consists of accessories. It is designed for both women and men so I thought it would be suitable for my style for the poster series. The logo is simple too. This was something I had to consider for my design because I didn’t want it to be too strong or to take away from the design I have in mind.

This brand is vintage inspired, trendy and original. I think/hope it will work well for my poster.
